<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Course Description:<\/strong><\/p>\nThis interactive training allows participants to discuss issues related to implementation and sustainment of IPS services. A small group of participants meets virtually for five, 3-hour sessions over a two-week period. They discuss subjects related to pre-implementation plans, IPS research, in-depth discussions about the evidence-based practice (using the IPS Supported Employment Fidelity Scale), effective training, fidelity reviews, utilization of program data, and strategies to sustain IPS programs. During these discussions, participants share what has worked for them and ask for ideas related to challenges in their state, country or regions. And trainers share training tools, fidelity tools and other resources with the group.<\/p>\n
Course trainers have experience working in IPS at the program level, as state trainers, as state Vocational Rehabilitation administers, and as national and international trainers. They each have an extensive history in helping programs, states, regions and countries with IPS implementation.<\/p>\n
Course Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\nParticipants benefit from knowing basic knowledge about IPS Supported Employment prior to the course. Use the IPS website, IPSworks.org, to read the IPS principles (library=documents), recovery stories (library-videos), and review the IPS Supported Employment Fidelity Scale (library-documents).<\/p>\n
Course Participants: <\/strong><\/p>\nIndividuals who take this course are typically state, regional, or country leaders who will oversee IPS implementation and quality improvement; IPS trainers; IPS fidelity reviewers; and agency leaders with oversight for IPS programs.<\/p>\n
