If you find out that the person has changed his mind about employment, then go ahead and close the person\u2019s case. If the person has encountered other obstacles, such as trouble remembering the appointments or conflicting family commitments, talk with the mental health team to devise strategies to support the person\u2019s involvement in IPS. Remember that many people miss appointments because they do not feel hopeful about finding a job that they would like.
